First is the most common career transition people take – changing into a totally different profession. It’s when you change both your job description and industry. Example is if you’re a nurse who wants to be an events planner. This is the toughest change of all. And yet, many people take this change because they are not aware of the other possible changes that they can take.

Write down all the things that you want to do, all the things you do best, all the things you are proud of, and all the things that your boss, colleagues, family and friends admire about you and seek advice from you.
